Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge. The role supports the daily operation of all F&B outlets, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction and compliance with hotel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of restaurant, bar, room service and event service areas.
• Lead, motivate and support the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist in coordinating private events, banqueting and special functions.
• Monitor staffing levels, support rota planning and onboarding of new team members.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with HACCP regulations.
• Manage stock control, inventory and minimise wastage.
• Oversee accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures using MICROS POS.
• Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless communication.
• Respond calmly to operational challenges and emergency situations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in hotels or luxury hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems, ideally MICROS.
