Fork Lift Truck Driver – Temporary (Manchester)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Driver to join a well‑established manufacturing warehouse in Openshaw, Manchester on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Check goods in and out for damage and accuracy.
- Report issues using internal quality processes.
- Carry out inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Shrink‑wrap finished goods to company standards.
- Follow manual handling and health & safety procedures.
Required profile
- Valid FLT licence (Bendi licence highly desirable).
- Experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in a similar FLT or warehouse role.
- Good communication skills and basic IT literacy.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Required skills
- Forklift truck operation.
- Bendi forklift licence.
- Basic IT literacy.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.00.
- Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Friday 7:30 am – 12:30 pm).
