Freelance Content & Social Media Manager

About the role

Pulsio, a fast‑growing sports recovery technology brand, is seeking a freelance Content & Social Media Manager to own its organic channels. You will shape the brand’s voice on Instagram and TikTok, creating engaging, on‑brand content that supports product launches, partnerships and key campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar, prioritising Instagram and TikTok.
• Develop content concepts, campaigns and recurring series aligned with brand goals.
• Write compelling captions and social copy for posts and stories.
• Coordinate designers, video editors and freelance creators to produce visual assets.
• Source and manage user‑generated content opportunities where relevant.
• Schedule and publish posts using Later or a comparable scheduling platform.
• Deliver 4‑5 Instagram posts per week plus supporting story content.
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements to boost engagement and reach.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing social media for consumer brands.
• Familiarity with fitness, wellness, recovery or sports audiences.
• Creative instincts with a proven ability to brief and guide designers and video editors.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for clear, persuasive copy.
• Comfortable balancing strategy, creativity and hands‑on execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Later.
• Copywriting for Instagram captions and short‑form video scripts.
• Ability to coordinate freelance creative workflows.
