French Sales Team Manager – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are looking for a French Sales Team Manager to lead and develop our high‑performing sales team in Manchester. The role combines people leadership with personal sales contribution, driving revenue and market presence for ESL’s electrical components business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a French‑focused sales team through regular 1:1s, performance reviews and tailored development plans.
• Set clear activity, behaviour and result expectations, ensuring accountability and achievement of revenue, margin and KPI targets.
• Oversee day‑to‑day sales activities including prospecting, pipeline management, territory planning and qualification.
• Maintain CRM discipline, accurate data entry and monitor pipeline quality, deal progression and forecast accuracy.
• Recruit, onboard and retain top sales talent to support growth.
• Manage a personal portfolio of customer accounts and consistently meet individual sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and managing sales teams, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Fluent French with excellent communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable sales plans.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset and collaborative working style.
