French Speaking Sales Executive

About the role

This position is based in Birmingham and focuses on expanding sales activity across French‑speaking markets in Europe for a global distributor of precision engineering equipment. The role is office‑based five days a week with flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business from prospective accounts in French‑speaking countries.
• Regenerate and grow existing accounts, building long‑term relationships.
• Achieve KPI targets including sales volume, call activity, new accounts and customer visits.
• Attend industry exhibitions and conduct on‑site customer visits throughout Europe.
• Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies, including advertising and promotional activities.
• Generate new business within the assigned geographic area and sector, maintaining required profit margins.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Previous sales experience in any sector is preferred.
• Target‑driven, competitive mindset with confidence to cold‑call new clients.
• Full, valid UK driving licence for client visits and travel.
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
