Front of House Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join the team at Six by Nico in Birmingham. You will work in a lively restaurant environment, delivering professional and friendly service while developing your knowledge of food and wine through in‑house training.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge on current menus.
• Assist the head waiter/waitress in providing excellent customer service.
• Deliver food to customers with accurate food and wine descriptions.
• Clear tables and ensure appropriate cutlery is provided.
• Prepare and serve drinks at the bar.
• Display enthusiasm and a positive attitude with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar front‑of‑house role.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a "can‑do" attitude.
