Funding & Audit Officer

About the role

We are recruiting a Funding & Audit Officer on behalf of an apprenticeship training provider. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with apprenticeship funding regulations and preparing for audits. It is fully remote with occasional quarterly meetings in St Albans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor apprenticeship funding compliance.
• Prepare providers for ESFA or DfE funding audits.
• Utilise apprenticeship MIS software to track funding data.
• Produce analytical reports on funding performance.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience and knowledge of apprenticeship funding.
• Proven track record of preparing providers for ESFA or DfE audits.
• Experience working with apprenticeship MIS software.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
