Global Head of SEO

About the role

The Global Head of SEO will lead the organic search function for a market‑leading international IT and business services firm. Reporting to senior digital leadership, you will own strategy and execution across multiple websites spanning Europe, North America, APAC and the Middle East, driving traffic, leads and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global SEO roadmap aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing team of SEO specialists.
• Manage technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawling, indexing and hreflang implementation.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and opportunity identification across all markets.
• Collaborate with content, web development and analytics teams to embed SEO best practices throughout the customer journey.
• Produce regular performance reports and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor algorithm updates and emerging search trends to keep the strategy ahead of the curve.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing SEO programmes across multiple international territories.
• Strong technical SEO expertise and solid understanding of website architecture, indexing and crawling.
• Experience delivering measurable organic growth and commercial outcomes.
