Graduate Cover Supervisor – Birmingham & Solihull (£100‑£120/day)

About the role

We are looking for recent graduates to join our network of secondary schools in Birmingham and Solihull as Cover Supervisors. This role provides a fast‑track way to gain classroom experience before entering teacher training, delivering pre‑planned lessons and supporting students in the teacher’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned KS3 and KS4 lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
• Engage students, keep them on task and support their progress.
• Follow each school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Provide short‑term or long‑term cover as required.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated graduate.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude, reliable and flexible.
• Interest in a future teaching career.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
