Graduate Executive Search Consultant – Researcher

About the role

We are seeking inquisitive, driven graduates to join our executive search team as Researchers. This entry‑level position offers a structured graduate training programme, giving you exposure to multiple desks and the chance to develop expertise in sourcing C‑suite talent for finance, fintech and quantitative trading firms.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive graduate programme with training and mentorship across executive‑search functions.
• Conduct detailed market research to identify high‑calibre C‑suite candidates in finance, fintech and quantitative trading.
• Source and engage candidates via LinkedIn, professional networks and specialised databases.
• Analyse industry trends, competitor activities and emerging market developments to inform recruitment strategies.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date candidate database ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with consultants to align research with client needs and build high‑quality shortlists.

Required profile

• Strong academic background, preferably a Russell Group degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with a keen interest in financial markets.
• High motivation, curiosity and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
• Experience with candidate sourcing tools and specialised databases.

• Competitive base salary £30‑35K plus uncapped commission.
