Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join Virtus Talent’s Manchester office. You will receive hands‑on training from the co‑founders and support a high‑performing team that places technology talent with hedge funds, private equity, banks and fintech firms across the UK and US.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business development calls and generate new client opportunities.
• Research market trends and target companies within the technology and finance sectors.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to placement.
• Utilise recruitment tools and platforms to source and assess talent.
• Build and promote your personal brand within your chosen market.
• Attend networking events and represent the firm at industry gatherings.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated by financial rewards and targets.
• Strong work ethic and a proven sense of achievement (e.g., sport, internships).
