About the role
This full‑time Graduate Teacher Training Programme offers recent graduates and career changers a school‑based pathway into teaching. Based in Bournemouth, you will receive hands‑on classroom experience, mentoring and professional development from September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom from day one
- Work alongside experienced teachers to deliver lessons
- Develop lesson planning and classroom management skills
- Learn effective teaching and assessment strategies
- Gradually take on increasing responsibility as your confidence grows
Required profile
- Recent graduate or career changer with a passion for education
- Enthusiastic, resilient and eager to learn
- Committed to making a positive impact on young people
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree (or to be completed before September 2026)
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Right to work in the UK

- Salary £23,000–£27,000 per annum (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)
