About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially‑driven Head of Business to lead our automotive dealership in Eastbourne. This senior position offers full responsibility for profitability, customer satisfaction and team development across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the strategic and operational plan for the dealership.
• Drive profitability in Sales, Aftersales, Parts and Finance.
• Recruit, coach and develop departmental managers and their teams.
• Monitor KPIs and take proactive action to meet targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer partners and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies and industry regulations.
• Promote a customer‑first culture and deliver exceptional service.
• Manage budgets, costs and overall financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head of Business, General Manager, Dealer Principal or senior automotive manager.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of profitable growth.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people‑management abilities.
• Experience overseeing multiple departments within a franchised dealership.
• Solid financial and operational management skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Results‑driven mindset with the ability to motivate teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
