Head of Delivery Management

About the role

As Head of Delivery for the UKI region, you will drive Datatonic’s growth by ensuring high‑quality delivery of Data & AI transformations. You will lead a team of Delivery Leads, own end‑to‑end delivery success, and work closely with commercial and technology leaders to achieve profitable regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagement and regional growth strategies, serving on the London Leadership Team.
• Define and oversee large transformation programmes, including solution design, operating model creation, and change management.
• Own commercial processes, delivery margins, and SoW efficiency for top accounts.
• Drive top‑account growth by identifying new workstreams, renewals, and revenue opportunities.
• Ensure delivery success is measured through ROI tracking, account growth, and gross‑margin targets.
• Plan staffing, manage utilization, and maintain the hiring pipeline for delivery teams.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Delivery Leads, fostering consistent delivery methodologies.
• Lead senior program management for complex, billable accounts, maintaining C‑suite relationships.

Required profile

• 10+ years of consulting or programme‑management experience in professional services.
• Proven experience managing and developing delivery teams.
• Strong financial modelling skills, especially gross‑margin calculation and utilisation tracking.
• Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, Prince2, or advanced Scrum (CSM/PSM II).
• Experience operating within a matrix organisation and in a billable leadership role.
