About the role

Saab UK is expanding into the Hybrid‑Navy domain, a cross‑domain capability that blends surface, subsurface, uncrewed and cyber‑enabled assets. The Head of Hybrid Navy Business Development and Sales will lead this growth, shaping strategy, building relationships with navies worldwide and driving commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business realisation process from market appraisal through tender delivery and follow‑up, following Saab’s Winning Business (WB) methodology.
• Develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships within naval commands and defence procurement agencies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across campaigns, creating compelling value propositions.
• Collaborate with Saab Business Units and Product Sales Responsibles to align technical solutions with customer needs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and represent Saab’s naval portfolio in global forums.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in naval operations or recent naval service.
• Proven track record in defence procurement and large‑scale campaign management.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development or sales within the defence sector.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and influence decision‑making.
