Health and Social Care Assessor – Chester

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to work across Chester and surrounding areas. The role involves both home‑based and field‑based activities, supporting learners on Level 3 apprenticeships and delivering functional skills training.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Health and Social Care apprenticeships at Level 3.
• Deliver Maths and English Functional Skills training to Level 2.
• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners, overcoming barriers to learning.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s for timely visits, quality paperwork and administration.

Required profile

• Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• Experience delivering Health and Social Care apprenticeships – Frameworks or Standards.
• Occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly).
• Confidence to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
• Willingness to conduct online remote assessments and face‑to‑face when required.
• Good level of ICT skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel across the region.
