Hospitality Head Chef – Monday to Friday

About the role

Compass Group is seeking a Hospitality Head Chef to lead the culinary operations at its Central London site. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for menu creation, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee all food preparation to the highest standard.
• Produce food promptly to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure all necessary ingredients are available for menu execution.
• Develop and plan menus that meet client and customer expectations.
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards.
• Manage the kitchen team, providing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure the team completes up‑to‑date COSHH and food hygiene training.
• Support and lead a team of six kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Experience overseeing all culinary aspects of catering, including menu planning and food preparation.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop kitchen staff.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality food and service.
