HR Advisor – Employee Relations

About the role

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our People Team. This is an opportunity for an ER professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee relations matters across a diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of Employee Relations cases from start to finish.
• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management and flexible working matters.
• Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and redundancy programmes.
• Provide expert guidance on TUPE transfers and consultation processes.
• Handle ACAS early conciliation cases end‑to‑end, including COT3 agreements.
• Build effective relationships with managers and stakeholders to drive positive employee relations outcomes.
• Deliver practical, legally compliant advice in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Support manager capability through coaching and training.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework independently.
• Strong redundancy experience, including consultation processes and organisational change activities.
• Practical experience supporting TUPE transfers from planning through to implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering a high‑quality advisory service.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting multiple worker populations, business units or employment types (advantageous).
