HR Advisor – HR Operations

About the role

Hays are supporting a highly innovative international life‑sciences organisation in recruiting an experienced HR Advisor to join their UK HR team on a temporary basis. The role will deliver a high‑quality HR operational service across the full employee life‑cycle during a period of business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the employee life‑cycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and off‑boarding.
• Process and maintain accurate employee data in the HR system and support payroll administration.
• Assist with annual HR activities such as salary reviews, merit increases and bonus processes.
• Manage holiday entitlement changes and long‑service recognition processes.
• Provide HR policy and process guidance to managers and employees.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR role with a strong focus on HR operations and administration.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and comfortable working within a team.

What we offer

• Salary of £31,000 per annum.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days on‑site, 2 days remote.
• Flexible start and finish times and modern offices at Alderley Park Science Campus.
• Initial contract of at least six months with strong likelihood of extension to 12 months.
