HR Social Policy & Industrial Relations Placement (12.5 months)

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement within Airbus' Social Policy and Industrial Relations team offers an undergraduate the chance to develop a deep understanding of employment legislation, social policy and industrial relations in a transnational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of social policy and industrial relations across the company and monitor legislative changes.
• Support grievance, disciplinary and other HR procedures.
• Research, analyse trends and benchmark employment policy and law.
• Contribute to the drafting, review and implementation of company‑wide HR policies.
• Take ownership of projects and work closely with HR Business Partners, Trade Union representatives and senior management.

Required profile

• Currently studying a Law, Business or HR‑related degree with an interest in employment law.
• Strong communication skills and ability to listen and understand stakeholder needs.
• Proficiency with basic IT tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to tackle complex problems.
• Experience in research, benchmarking and analysing legislative updates.
