Human Resources Business Partner – Hybrid Contract (3 months)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join a long‑standing client on a three‑month contract. Working hybrid in London, you will partner with senior leaders to shape people strategy, improve employee experience and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR support to managers and senior leaders.
• Build trusted relationships, attend regular business meetings and act as a people advisor.
• Support performance management, coach leaders and advise on employee development.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases, investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, recommend improvements and drive better outcomes.
• Assist with organisational change, restructures, succession and workforce planning.
• Advise on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
• Develop contracts for new hires, promotions and internal moves.
• Identify training needs and support learning initiatives and executive coaching.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team on people‑focused projects and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment legislation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Experience using HR metrics and data to support decision‑making.
• Commercial mindset with a balance between business needs and employee experience.
• Outstanding communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• A degree and/or CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous.
