IAM Business Analyst – Microsoft Entra (Remote, UK)

About the role

We are seeking an IAM Business Analyst to join a Microsoft‑focused consultancy on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role is remote (based in the UK) and involves helping clients streamline their user access lifecycle using Microsoft Entra and Identity Governance.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery sessions and requirements workshops with clients.
• Review and document existing Joiners, Movers and Leavers processes.
• Identify manual steps, control gaps and automation opportunities.
• Produce current‑state and future‑state process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support the design of improved access request and approval workflows.
• Define role‑based access controls and access models.
• Assist with provisioning and de‑provisioning process improvements.
• Collaborate with architects and technical consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Experience as an IAM Business Analyst, IAM Analyst, Identity Analyst or Access Management Analyst.
• Strong process, stakeholder and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of IAM principles and the ability to work confidently with technical teams.
• Willingness to develop expertise in Microsoft Entra and Identity Governance.
