About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing inside sales team that markets advanced scientific products and services across multiple divisions. The role focuses on driving revenue through telephone, email and digital channels while maintaining strong customer relationships and fostering team development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop an inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Generate new business and expand market presence using consultative selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with field sales, marketing and technical teams to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Utilise CRM data and analytics to monitor performance and refine sales strategies.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement in sales processes.
  • Travel up to 10% for customer meetings and internal events.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, life sciences or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in people management and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical problem‑solving abilities and detail‑oriented organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Willingness to work onsite four days a week with one remote day.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
