Insolvency Solicitor – 3+ PQE – Manchester

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Insolvency Solicitor to join its Manchester team. The role involves handling a diverse caseload of corporate and personal insolvency matters for a broad client base, including individuals, SMEs and large organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on both contentious and non‑contentious insolvency issues.
• Manage corporate restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings for domestic and international clients.
• Represent clients in negotiations with insolvency practitioners and courts.
• Draft and review legal documents related to personal and corporate insolvency.
• Support senior partners with complex advisory projects.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in insolvency law.
• Proven experience handling both corporate and personal insolvency cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of restructuring and advisory work.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied client portfolio.
