Institutional Sales – Insurance & Asset Management (London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales professional to drive insurance‑focused mandate business for our asset management team in London. The role will combine deep knowledge of UK insurers with a consultative sales approach to align capital, liability and investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Expand relationships and pipeline across UK life insurers, general insurers, reinsurers and insurance‑owned platforms.
• Originate and execute mandate sales using a consultative approach aligned to capital, liability and investment goals.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales process for insurance mandates, including capital‑model‑driven RFPs, DDQs and preparation of insurance‑specific materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with investment consultants (both generalist and insurance‑specialist) influencing the insurance segment.
• Represent the firm at insurance industry events and forums.

Required profile

• Significant UK institutional sales experience within asset management.
• Established network with UK insurer CIOs, Heads of Investment, Treasury/ALM and insurance consultants.

Required skills

• Strong technical fluency in insurance balance sheets.
• In‑depth knowledge of Solvency II regulations.
• Understanding of matching adjustment and capital charges.
