Interim People Business Partner – Strategic HR Leadership

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim People Business Partner to support a large, highly regulated organisation undergoing transformation. Reporting to senior People leadership, you will work directly with Executive Directors and their teams, providing strategic HR advice and ensuring continuity during change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Executive‑level stakeholders to develop and execute people strategies.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning and capability building.
• Advise on organisational effectiveness, leadership development and change initiatives.
• Coach senior leaders through transformation and cultural change programmes.
• Facilitate complex stakeholder and employee relations discussions when required.
• Build strong relationships across a matrixed organisation and act as a trusted adviser on people risk.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner, Head of HR or interim people partner role.
• Proven ability to influence Executive Directors, Boards or senior leadership teams.
• Strong background in organisational development, workforce planning and change management.
• Experience working in complex, highly regulated or governance‑heavy environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coaching capabilities.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach with the gravitas to establish trust quickly.
