International Payroll Specialist – 6 month FTC (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established international organisation, is looking for an experienced International Payroll Specialist to join a high‑performing team in London. This 6‑month fixed‑term contract offers a hybrid working model and exposure to a broad range of payroll activities across multiple global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end payroll processes, ensuring employee data is accurate and processed on time.
• Prepare, review and validate payroll information, including lifecycle changes, variable payments, deductions and benefits.
• Maintain records, documentation and procedural guidance to ensure operational consistency.
• Perform data validation, reconciliations and reporting to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to employee and stakeholder queries with professional support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to capture workforce changes correctly.
• Assist with benefits and pension administration, including routine data checks.
• Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Contribute to periodic reporting, audit requests and year‑end activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting payroll, HR operations or employee administration.
• Familiarity with HR, payroll or workforce management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data accurately.
• Good analytical and numerical skills, especially with spreadsheets and reports.
