Investigators – Hate Crime Investigation (Greater Manchester)

About the role

We are recruiting Investigators based in Greater Manchester to lead investigations into antisemitic and other priority hate‑crime offences. The role offers flexible full‑time, part‑time or compressed hours on a temporary ongoing contract, with a PAYE rate paid weekly.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end case management of hate‑crime investigations to a PIP 2 standard.
• Victim engagement and safeguarding throughout the investigative process.
• Evidence gathering and case building for complex investigations.
• Collaboration with Crown Prosecution Service and other criminal‑justice partners.
• Close work with Warden teams, Neighbourhood Policing and specialist partners to ensure consistency and share best practice.

• Ability to work collaboratively with police, neighbourhood teams and specialist partners.
• Commitment to delivering a consistent, high‑quality investigative response during periods of increased demand.
