iOS Engineer

About the role

Starling, the UK’s leading digital bank, is looking for an iOS Engineer to join its fast‑moving technology team. You will work in cross‑functional feature teams, helping to build and maintain the mobile experience that millions of customers rely on every day.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship high‑quality iOS features in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Contribute to the tooling and infrastructure used by the broader engineering organisation.
• Partner with product, design, and other engineering squads to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the mobile codebase.
• Help shape technical decisions and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates.
• Passion for building reliable, user‑focused financial products.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting with at least one day per week in the office.

Required skills

• iOS development (experience with the iOS platform is essential).
