IT Support Officer – London Stansted

About the role

AirX Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation providing line and base maintenance for its fleet. We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on IT Support Officer to join our office‑based team. The role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar, working a Monday‑to‑Friday shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure operating systems, devices, and peripherals.
• Set up workstations and user accounts for new joiners.
• Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.
• Perform routine IT‑related checks and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain WiFi access points, network infrastructure, and internet connectivity.
• Manage and support CCTV and access control systems.
• Provide IT support to staff, crew, and engineers on site.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Basic knowledge of Office 365 applications.
• Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
• Valid and clean UK driving licence preferred.
