Junior Textile Designer – Printed Textiles

About the role

FatFace is seeking a Junior Textile Designer to join its Printed Textiles team at the Havant headquarters. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with garment designers, buyers and print specialists to create fresh, trend‑led prints for the brand’s seasonal collections.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original artwork using hand‑painting and drawing techniques for key prints.
• Translate concepts into production‑ready files and oversee the print development process.
• Work closely with international suppliers and print mills to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Support the wider design team with trend research, mood‑board creation and presentation preparation.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a passion for textile design.
• Strong visual imagination and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Commitment to sustainability, ethical practice and inclusive design.
