Kitchen Assistant – Premium Day‑time Restaurant in Central London

About the role
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a premium day‑time restaurant located inside an exclusive central London retail store near Soho and Oxford Circus. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts, with the latest finish at 9 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the chef team in preparing and plating high‑quality fresh food.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station and kitchen area.
- Support line chefs, commis chefs and chef de partie during service.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Help with stock rotation, receiving deliveries and basic inventory tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a high‑quality fresh‑food kitchen (e.g., Kitchen Assistant, Line Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie).
- Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Valid UK work permission.
- Immediate availability.
