Kitchen Porter – Luxury Hotel in Knightsbridge

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a landmark luxury hotel in Knightsbridge, London.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dishes and operating equipment in Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Prepare operating equipment for banquet functions by counting, sorting, and organizing items.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, minimizing breakage and ensuring cleanliness.
• Sanitize machinery and equipment according to established hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
• Adhere to strict personal hygiene and grooming standards, including prescribed uniforms and name badges.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a 5‑star luxury property, preferably in London.
• Team‑player attitude, working collaboratively to keep the hotel’s kitchen and public areas immaculate.
• Professional interaction with guests and staff, contributing positively to the hotel atmosphere.
• Prior kitchen experience is ideal, with a keen eye for detail.
• Responsive to requests and consistently maintains a courteous, professional demeanor.
