Lead Business Analyst / Business Architect (Financial Services)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst or Business Architect to join a large financial services client for an initial six‑month assignment. The role focuses on designing and improving customer journeys, particularly for wealth‑advice services, and requires a strong presence on site in Birmingham (40% of the time).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end mapping and redesign of wealth‑advice customer journeys.
• Engage directly with C‑suite stakeholders to capture strategic objectives and translate them into actionable designs.
• Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts that support investment and advisory processes.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions align with the defined journey maps.
• Provide governance and quality assurance for journey‑related deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience interacting with senior (C‑suite) stakeholders.
• Hands‑on expertise in mapping and building customer journeys, preferably within financial services.
• Background in investments or wealth‑advice domains is highly desirable.
• Strong core Business Analyst or Business Architect capabilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Birmingham for 40% of the assignment.
