Learning Support Assistant – Southwark Primary School

About the role
Join a welcoming, inclusive primary school in Southwark where you will help pupils achieve their full potential. As a Learning Support Assistant you will provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support across EYFS to KS2, focusing on children with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 support and lead small‑group interventions.
- Assist pupils with SEN within the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance learning and progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children; SEN background desirable.
- Genuine passion for supporting pupil development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible, positive approach to challenges.
