Lecturer – Health, Wellbeing & Social Care

About the role
This permanent full‑time position is with a rapidly growing higher education provider in Manchester. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality undergraduate teaching across Health & Social Care programmes (Levels 4‑6) and support a diverse student cohort.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars and workshops for Health & Social Care modules.
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with UK HE standards.
- Provide academic and pastoral support, monitoring progress, attendance and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development, continuous improvement and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate academic records and reporting.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Health & Social Care or a related discipline.
- Current UK higher‑education teaching experience (undergraduate level).
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCert HE, PGCHE, HEA Fellowship or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of UK HE frameworks and academic standards.
