About the role

Scholars School System is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to deliver Health and Social Care programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The role focuses on high‑quality teaching, student support and contribution to curriculum development within a vibrant, values‑driven institution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of teaching per week, ensuring 90% student attendance.
• Maintain accurate student records and monitor progression throughout the academic year.
• Lead modules or courses, contributing to curriculum design and continuous improvement.
• Mark and moderate assessments in line with quality‑assurance procedures.
• Achieve targets of 90% pass rates and 90% student retention.
• Develop inclusive e‑learning resources and innovative teaching materials.
• Provide personal academic tutoring and pastoral support where required.

Required profile

• HE teaching experience in Health and Social Care or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to manage student records and support academic progression.
• Commitment to the institution’s core values of diversity, excellence and student‑centred practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with department heads and year leads.

Required skills

• Experience developing e‑learning resources and digital teaching materials.
