About the role
London College of Contemporary Arts is seeking a passionate Lecturer to deliver engaging, industry‑focused teaching in Hospitality Management and Leadership. You will work with students across Levels 4‑6, helping them develop the knowledge, confidence and mindset required for successful hospitality careers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive lectures covering hospitality leadership, events, marketing, strategy and customer experience.
- Use real‑world case studies and live projects to create a dynamic learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
- Support student progression, engagement and achievement through mentorship and feedback.
- Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching approaches.
- Build and maintain industry links, including guest speakers and employer partnerships.
- Participate in assessment, quality assurance processes and exam boards.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Events or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching in higher education or industry training.
- Strong understanding of hospitality leadership trends.
- Ability to deliver inclusive and engaging teaching.
Required skills
- Experience with digital teaching platforms and tools.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £42,000‑£50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time permanent contract with flexible Monday‑Friday or Tuesday‑Saturday patterns.
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
