About the role
University College Birmingham is seeking a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism for its Further Education provision. You will deliver Level 2 and Level 3 courses in dedicated classrooms and an aviation suite, giving students practical, industry‑aligned experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Travel and Tourism curricula for Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
- Utilise the aviation suite and industry‑standard facilities to provide hands‑on training.
- Maintain up‑to‑date teaching materials that reflect current industry practices.
- Contribute to departmental development and quality assurance activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching or training in a busy travel and tourism environment.
- Strong ability to motivate and manage learners of diverse ages and abilities.
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities within a commercial setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the PREVENT agenda.
