Legal Counsel

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our high‑performing in‑house legal team. Based in Birmingham on a hybrid schedule (three days in the office), you will support a dynamic organisation delivering large‑scale commercial projects.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on commercial and construction‑related contracts, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating high‑value agreements.
- Provide legal support for procurement activities and contract management.
- Manage contractual claims, disputes and risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver legal training to improve business awareness and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
Required profile
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales.
- Strong commercial contract or procurement law experience.
- Proven ability to negotiate and advise on complex commercial and construction contracts.
- Capable of working independently while handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
