Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Early Years Foundation Stage

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Manchester to find an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant for their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. The position starts in September 2026 and offers a long‑term placement within a supportive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in Nursery or Reception classes.
• Deliver small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions to promote early development.
• Assist with phonics, early maths, communication and language activities.
• Facilitate learning through play and child‑led activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional and personal development.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Experience delivering targeted interventions.
• Patient, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
