Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School

About the role

Aspire People are looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified TA who enjoys working closely with pupils, delivering interventions, and helping teachers provide high‑quality learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small‑group classroom support
• Delivering reading, phonics, English and maths interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND where required
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and resources
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Recent experience working within a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Experience delivering interventions
• Confident supporting pupils with different abilities and needs
• Patient, reliable, and proactive approach
