Litigation Executive – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established Manchester law firm to recruit a Litigation Executive (Legal Advisor – Litigation) on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will take ownership of a high‑quality personal injury portfolio, managing cases from instruction through to resolution while working three days in the office and two days from home after the onboarding period.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of 80‑120 personal injury claims, including Road Traffic Accident, Employer Liability, Public Liability and Credit Hire matters.
• Progress litigated matters in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and court protocols, drafting statements, witness statements and instructions to counsel.
• Assess liability, quantum and evidential issues and conduct settlement negotiations.
• Maintain excellent client care throughout each claim’s lifecycle.
• Meet performance and financial targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Required profile

• Experience handling personal injury litigation, preferably with Fast Track and/or Multi‑Track claims.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation processes.
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, commercial approach to case management.
