Litigation Solicitor – 3‑6 PQE – Manchester – Up to £75k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a top‑tier commercial law firm in Manchester. The role offers a blend of client‑facing work and collaboration with senior lawyers on complex commercial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead lower‑value commercial claims, including contract disputes and shareholder issues.
• Support senior lawyers on high‑value matters, preparing case strategies and documentation.
• Conduct judgments, settlements, mediations and attend court hearings as required.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across SME, financial, real‑estate and corporate sectors.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver high‑quality legal advice.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive approach to case management.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Expertise in handling contract claims, shareholder disputes and contentious insolvency matters.
• Experience with judgments, settlements and mediations.
