Litigation Solicitor – Commercial Litigation (3‑6 PQE)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a top‑ranked Legal 500 commercial law firm in Manchester. You will work within a collaborative team handling a variety of commercial disputes and will have the chance to develop your career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage lower‑value commercial claims and support senior lawyers on high‑value matters.
• Handle contract claims, shareholder disputes, contentious insolvency and related litigation.
• Conduct judgments, settlements and mediations (JSMs).
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial dispute areas and excellent client‑service orientation.
• Proactive, commercial awareness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience in handling contract claims, shareholder disputes and contentious insolvency.
• Competence in conducting judgments, settlements and mediations.
