Litigation Solicitor (Property & Finance)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established London‑headquartered law firm to expand its Manchester litigation team. The firm seeks a Property & Finance Litigation Solicitor to join the office, working closely with a Partner while managing an independent caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a varied portfolio of debt recovery, commercial and property litigation matters.
• Represent lender and finance company clients in disputes, including receivership and insolvency cases.
• Manage mortgage possession claims and broader finance litigation.
• Maintain high standards of client service, responsiveness and proactive risk management.

Required profile

• Proven experience running your own caseload with limited supervision.
• Solid technical grounding in commercial and/or property litigation.
• Experience in debt recovery matters; experience with lenders or finance companies is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
