Locum Occupational Therapist – Band 6/7, High Rates, Flexible

About the role
We are seeking experienced Band 6 and Band 7 Occupational Therapists for locum assignments across NHS and private settings. These short‑term contracts offer the chance to work on acute medical and surgical wards, rapid response teams, stroke and neuro services, mental health units and intermediate care teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with complex clinical needs.
- Lead discharge planning and coordinate community rehabilitation pathways.
- Provide rapid response assessments and support to multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor and support junior staff where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with NHS standards.
Required profile
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 12 months of UK experience at Band 6 or Band 7 level.
- Proven experience in complex case management and discharge planning.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to varied clinical environments.
