About the role

We are seeking a Managing Associate Family Solicitor to join our highly regarded Manchester Family team. This senior position offers the chance to manage a varied private family law caseload while benefiting from the resources and referral network of a top‑100 UK law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of private family law matters from instruction to conclusion.
• Handle divorce, high‑value financial remedy, private children law, cohabitation, TOLATA, and pre‑/post‑nuptial agreements.
• Advise high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners and professionals.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the national family department.
• Participate in business development, networking and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in family law.
• Strong experience in privately funded family matters.
• Excellent technical knowledge and client‑management skills.
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development.
