Mechanical Project Engineer - Healthcare Infrastructure

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be at the heart of delivering a state-of-the-art cancer care center, ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence in the South East of England.

Main Missions

• Lead and support the delivery of essential building mechanical services, including HVAC, medical gases, LTHW/CHW, and piping networks.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, commercial teams, consultants, and the supply chain to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage on-site subcontractors, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Ensure full compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) standards and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in coordination meetings, technical problem-solving, and oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover phases.

Candidate Profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering projects, with a strong interest or background in the healthcare sector.
• Deep technical understanding of complex mechanical building systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
