Merchandiser – Fast‑Growing Online Homewares Brand

About the role

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing online homewares brand based in Manchester to find a talented Merchandiser to join their team. This role offers genuine scope for progression as the business and the team continue to scale, in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment where no two days look the same.

Key responsibilities

• Managing intake, stock flow and availability across product categories, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
• Building and maintaining accurate sales, stock and intake plans in line with commercial targets.
• Analysing weekly and seasonal trade, identifying opportunities and risks, and recommending action.
• Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and Buying team to inform range planning and future strategy.
• Managing markdown and promotional planning to optimise stock and margin.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end‑to‑end product flow.
• Producing clear, accurate reporting to support trading decisions across the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or strong experience as a Junior Merchandiser ready for the next step.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear commercial actions.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach comfortable in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Confident communicator able to build strong relationships across buying, planning and the wider business.

• Advanced Excel.
